Pearl M. Bissonnette, age 95, of Annandale died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. George Kallumkalkudy as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
Pearl Mabel Bissonnette was born January 18, 1921 in South Haven to Jesse and Elsie (Ludtke) Marquardt. She graduated from Annandale High School with the Class of 1939. In 1942, Pearl was united in marriage to W. Louis Bissonnette in Annandale. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women and taught religion class at her home. Pearl was a charter member and past President of the South Haven VFW Auxiliary Post 7332, lifetime member of Pioneer Park, volunteered at the Salvation Army in St. Cloud and the Wright County Food Program. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pearl is survived by her children Judy (Jerry) Thompson of Willow River, Donna (Roger) Rauschendorfer of South Haven, Kathleen (Jerry) Rauschendorfer of Annandale and David Bissonnette (Ron Brandt) of Minneapolis; four grandchildren Greg Thompson, Kim Vollrath, Susan Lawler and Julie Furey; seven great grandchildren Cassie Rauschendorfer, Merrick Schiroo, Jonah and Amelia Jacobson, Abby Thompson, Anna and Everett Vollrath; four step great grandchildren Aaron Lawler, Sam, Joseph and Lydia Furey. She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Elsie Marquardt; husband W. Louis Bissonnette; grandsons Jeff and Joey Thompson; granddaughter Cindy Jacobson; brothers Emery and Stanley Marquardt; and sister Hazel Johnson.
The casket bearers will be Sean Jacobson, Mike Lawler, Shane Vollrath, Cassie Rauschendorfer, Merrick Schiroo and Nick Furey. The gift bearers will be Anna and Everett Vollrath and Amelia Jacobson. St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
