Craig D. Quarberg, age 68, of Buffalo, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at home surrounded by the love and care of his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Monticello with Pastor Lee Evenson and Julie Dunn leading the celebration. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
Craig Dean Quarberg was born on May 16, 1949 in Crookston, Minnesota to Stuart D. and Terry T. (Desjardins) Quarberg. On December 23, 1995, Craig was united in marriage to Leigh A. Vaudt in Elk River. Craig worked as an engineer for Vector Tool in Monticello for many years, prior to his retirement in 2012. Craig and Leigh lived in Monticello prior to moving to Buffalo in 2009. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, tending to yardwork and the outdoors. Above all, Craig treasured the time he was able to spend with his family.
Craig is survived by his wife of 21 years, Leigh of Buffalo; children, Corine (Brad) Joslyn of Walker, Carrie Quarberg and Bill Quarberg both of Anoka; brothers, Mike (Marie), Mark, Scott, Danny (Jane) and Brian (Kathy); sister, Pam Boshea; father and mother-in-law, Phil and Cheri Vaudt; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cullen; sisters, Claudine and Kathy.
