Ann M. Stumpf, age 74, of Maple Lake died Monday, April 18, 2016 at her home after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake. As Ann requested, a private funeral service will be held on Saturday with Deacon Ron Freeman officiating.

Ann Marie Stumpf was born February 21, 1942 in Maple Lake, Minnesota to Marcus and Eleanor (Ferrell) Pribyl. She grew up in Maple Lake and graduated high school with the Class of 1960. On June 6, 1960 she was united in marriage to Gerald Stumpf at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake. Throughout her life, Ann worked in various careers and for various employers including the Monti Club, American Linen, Alpena Glass Company, Bernatello’s, Ellis’ Steak House, and most recently as a sales associate at the Walmart in Buffalo. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed going fishing. She was a car enthusiast, whether it be attending car shows or watching and attending drag racing events.

Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry of Maple Lake; sons, Scott of Fargo, Todd (Aryn) of Zimmerman, and Shawn of Maple Lake; grandchildren, Garrett, Zack, Blane, Bryce and Marcus; 1 great grandchild, Mason; sister, Sandy (Rollie) Hallsted of Buffalo; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
