Gloria - I don't know WHY but I was thinking about you and Bruce. If you remember me and my husband Daryl, it would have been Annandale at the time. I'm so sorry and I hope you are well. Daryl and I used to take our daughter Jessica to your farm - and you taught all three of us a LOT about horses.
Jessica went on with horses and has a BS in Equine/William Woods. She's been a trainer for a long time now. Jessica now has her own child, 1 1/2 yrs old. Who would have thought? Anyway what I remember was that the two of you were so kind to us. Bruce took pride in showing us his barn and the horses.
I'm in FL now, have been since 2001. Daryl passed on Valentine's Day 2010. Perhaps we met through Andrea Vargo? I don't remember. But I wish you and your family the very best! GS

Dear Gloria and family I am so very sorry to hear Bruce passed away. He sure was a great person with a huge heart of gold. May the lord give you comfort during this loss. I wish I found out before today to attend the funeral service. I will keep you and your family in my prayers I think of you and Bruce often. I have always been greatful for you and your family.

We just learned of Bruce's passing last night. We are so sorry for your loss. In the few short years we have known Bruce he was a sincere,honest and loving man.

My heart sank when mom told me about Bruce. I always looked up to Bruce with respect. A man that came from next to nothing and then built a successful business and an amazing family. I had the chance to work for Bruce and you would never find anyone who was more dedicated to detail then him. He always had a smile and loved to give me a hard time when he had the chance. When I was a kid, I always remembered when I shook his hand, it was hard and rough from lifting block. His hands might have been rough but his heart was big and soft. So many good memories I have of Bruce and his family. We should all be lucky to live such a full life Bruce did.
