Yvonne has always been such a joy to see at family gatherings and reunions--always a friendly smile and concern for how others are doing. My heart goes out to JoD'Ann, Lynn and Cindy and all the other immediate family. Prayers and blessings as you grieve the loss of a wonderful woman who will be truly missed.

I lived next door to Yvonne at the Oaks on Pleasant for about 2 years. She was a lovely neighbor, always offering me something she baked. She especially loved seeing my little dog, Pookie, when he was out on his leash. After she moved to Cindy's, Pookie kept looking in her window when he walked past her apartment. We will both miss her dearly. She had a lot of spirit. I put a purple candle up on this page in honor of her love of Prince. She was very young at heart and full of life. May she rest in peace.

Thank you for your lovely words about Mom. She enjoyed having you and Pookie as neighbors. We celebrated her birthday last summer by taking her to see the mural of Prince in Chanhassen and his house and the memorials that were attached to the fence. Who knew that an 85 year old was such a Prince fan. She would have gotten a kick out of the purple candle.
