To all the Kiernan " kids".
I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great friend and a Joy to know. We had many card games while he told us story after story. I will miss him for a long time. Saint Bens is not the same without Dan. Thank you so much for sending the funeral info since I couldn't be there.

I worked with Dan for years, I have to say, he was my favorite person in Wright County. He was brilliant, funny and a truely decent human being. I always thought at some point I'd be able to get together with him again, so sorry I missed that opportunity.....

Oh my , all the jokes and stories that Dan could tell. Even though some we had heard many times over they were always interesting and funny. He was truly a great Irishman and proud of it. R.I.P. my friend. Dale " Vada " Huro

Dan hired me in 1991 and quickly shared many Ole and Lena jokes to make light of my Norwegian heritage. His sense-of-humor was infectious, but his general concern for others was admirable. He called me a couple times a year to "check in", get updates about the department he built, and of course, share a joke or two. I will miss Dan and have fond memories of him. RIP, ABE

Tom and Family: When I first arrived at the Wright County Attorney's Office in March 1984 your dad was the Director of Court Services so obviously our jobs had us working closely together...He was a great guy, great sense of humor and on more than one occasion for County Christmas Party he would entertain all with singing " The Christmas Goose"...My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...TK

RIP Dan, grandfather of my nieces Sara Horton and Claire Horton. Our memories of you, your stories, your humor, and your cats (who but you would ever dream of having a business card titled "Kitty Pimp"?) will live on a long time. Beyond that, the loving guidance you gave to the troubled youth to whom you dedicated your life is no doubt blossoming in the lives of THEIR children and grandchildren. One does not have the opportunity to know many great men. I am grateful to have met one named Dan Kiernan. Peace brother. Please say hi to our mutual friends and to my Dad. You will like him a lot.
