I have such fond memories of Charles and the Fisher family growing up in Newfolden. Charles worked with my Dad, Opal gave us girls piano lessons and John and I were in the same class. Surrounding the entire family in my prayers.

When I began my career with IBM, I was excited to visit with the many Minnesota relatives we seldom got to see. I loved the gracious welcome by Uncle Charles and Aunt Opal. It was great to visit with some of my cousins too. Over the almost 20 years in Minnesota, we tried not to be strangers. We love Minnesota and the strong Norwegian heritage. Our prayers go with Charles and his remaining family. God bless them all.

Deepest sympathy to John and the rest of the Fisher family. I never met your father, but he sounds like he was a terrific man. The video was terrific.

My sincere sympathy to the family at this difficult time. It has been years ago since I worked with Charles as a secretary at Annandale High School. I always enjoyed his wit and rarely saw him get flustered! He will be missed by our community.

Mr. Fisher was my principal back in Annandale High School. I was a relatively frequent visitor to the school office, and I always felt fortunate his "corrective" measures seemed tempered by the fact that I was a close friend to his boys. Spent a lot of time over at the family's house. Always felt a bit unnerved hanging out at the school principal's house. Why? I don't know. I clearly saw he was a great dad.

I extend my condolences to all of the family. Charles' story and accomplishments are something to be proud of.

We extend our sympathy to Opal and Family. I worked with Charles in administration for his 18 years at Annandale. Charles was a very bright, patient, and kind person. He carried a broad and caring smile which reflected his genuine personal character. We remember the wonderful choirs Opal directed at St. John's Lutheran Church. May Charles rest in peace!

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Fisher's passing. He was the Principal of NHS when I was a high-school student there, and he was also my Chemistry teacher. I remember him being a bit intimidating as Principal, but he was very kind as well. My deepest sympathy to all of the family. May he rest in peace.

My sympathy goes out to your family. Charles was a wonderful person and I enjoyed visiting with him at the nursing home. It was always a pleasure to clean his room. I always called him Mr. Fischer and I think he liked that. Treasure all the wonderful memories you shared with him and keep them deep in your heart forever. I will keep your family in my prayers.
