Bernice L. Kuechle, age 99, of Watkins died Thursday, December 24, 2015 with her family at her side at Hilltop Care Center.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson as the Celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

    Bernice Louise Kuechle was born May 29, 1916 at her home in Kimball to Anton and Mary (Kaulfold) Zahler.  On June 8, 1937 she was united in marriage to John Kuechle at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins.  Bernice worked for many years at Fingerhut in St. Cloud.  She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Kimball American Legion Auxiliary.  Bernice enjoyed quilting, traveling, sewing, growing flowers and collecting chickens.  She cherished the time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    She is survived by her children & their spouses Luverne & Joan of Litchfield, Tony & Bev of Kimball, Kenny & Ginny of St. Cloud, Ron & Barbara of Watkins and Mary & Mick Fischer of Kimball; 25 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents Anton and Mary Zahler; husband John Kuechle; son Gerald Kuechle; brothers Milford, Raymond, Tony, Leland, Lloyd and James Zahler; and sisters Rose Schindele and Clara Harter.

    The urn bearers will be her grandsons Brian, Randy, Kevin and Mike Kuechle.  The St. Anne Choir will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
