Ailie Tersko, age 94, of Annandale died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Oasis Hospice of Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.

    Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service, Saturday, at the church.  Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.

    Ailie Josephine Tersko was born on January 9, 1922 in Finlayson to Efraim and Hilma (Sunstrum) Peura.  She was Baptized on February 12, 1922 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Finlayson and Confirmed on June 1, 1941 at Nashwauk Lutheran Church in Nashwauk.  On November 19, 1949, Ailie was united in marriage to George Tersko at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.  She worked in customer service at Munsingwear in Minneapolis for 29 years.  After retiring in 1985, Ailie and George moved from Minneapolis to Annandale; George died shortly after they moved to Annandale.  Ailie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale; where she served in the Busy Needles, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Fellowship Club.  She enjoyed sewing, needlework and word puzzles.

    She is survived by her brother Albert (Joanne) Peura of Golden Valley and many nieces, nephews and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents Efraim and Hilma Peura; husband George Tersko; and sister Lillian Papenfuss.

    The casket bearers will be Gary Papenfuss, Russell Peura, Ronald Peura, Les Peura, Donald Graupman and Peter Hoyne.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
