Brian was raised in Annandale and graduated from Annandale High School in 1998. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota in 2001.


He worked as a funeral director in Duluth, Mound, and Sauk Rapids before returning home to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services in the spring of 2006. In 2011, Brian & his wife, Dana, were awarded the University of Minnesota Program of Mortuary Science Alumni of the Year award. 


Since joining Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services, Brian has earned his designation as a Certified Professional in Funeral Planning (CPFP). This special training empowers funeral home staff to acknowledge the individual grief needs of the families they serve, educate those families, and meet the unique needs of each individual. In 2017, Brian was certified as a Life Tribute Celebrant. Celebrants are trained in creating unique and meaningful memorial experiences for families and communities.


In July 2014, Brian and his wife, Dana, purchased Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services from his parents, Art and Marlene Dingmann. Brian is the fourth generation to carry on the tradition as an owner and funeral director at Dingmann's. The opportunity to assist families at one of the most difficult times is what Brian calls "a calling." He is honored to continue the long tradition of service to the Annandale, Kimball, and Maple Lake areas. 


Brian and Dana live in Annandale. They have three children, Isabelle, Elias, and Anneliese, and a dog, Arlo.


Brian is a member of the Annandale, Kimball, and Maple Lake Chambers of Commerce, the Annandale/Maple Lake Knights of Columbus, St. Ignatius Catholic Church, the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, and Selected Independent Funeral Homes. He serves on the Annandale/Maple Lake Community Education Advisory Committee and the St. Ignatius Finance Committee. He has also served on the volunteer board of directors at Kimball Golf Club, where he has served as president, treasurer, and secretary of the board.  


Brian has been active with Children's Grief Connection (now Healing Hearts Connection) as a camp counselor and camp director. Healing Hearts Connection provides free camps and services for grieving children and their families.


Brian also serves on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association. He has served as the Minnesota District 8 Representative, Board Secretary, Board Treasurer, and Board President.


He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, cutting wood, traveling, and attending local sporting events.

Dana graduated from Norman County East High School in 2000 and was raised in Twin Valley. She earned her Mortuary Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 2003. 


Dana has worked as a funeral director in Eden Prairie, St. Cloud, and at Dingmann Funeral Care since 2007. In 2011, Dana and her husband, Brian, were awarded the University of Minnesota Program of Mortuary Science Alumni of the Year award.   


In July 2014, Dana and her husband, Brian, purchased Dingmann Funeral Care from Art and Marlene Dingmann. She is excited to continue the tradition of great service to the community. 


Dana and her husband Brian have three young children, Isabelle, Elias, and Anneliese, and a dog, Arlo. They live in Annandale. 


Dana is a member of the Annandale, Kimball, and Maple Lake Chambers of Commerce, St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale Kiwanis Club, Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, and Selected Independent Funeral Homes. She also serves on the boards of the Maple Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Annandale Kiwanis Club.


Dana has been active with Children's Grief Connection (now Healing Hearts Connection) as a camp counselor, Helper Bee, and program director. Healing Hearts Connection provides free camps and services to grieving children, their families, and their communities. Dana also served on the Children's Grief Connection Board of Directors as their board secretary.



In her free time, Dana enjoys traveling, attending local sporting events, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mike was raised in Duluth and graduated from Duluth Cathedral High School in 1979. He went on to earn a degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota in 1984. 


Mike has worked as a funeral director at Dingmann Funeral Care since 1984. Mike enjoys all aspects of funeral service and is currently focused on working with families to help them preplan meaningful funerals and memorial services. He also follows up with families following service to assist them in any way he can. 


Mike has furthered his education in funeral service by earning his Certified Professional in Funeral Planning in 2017. This training empowers funeral practitioners to understand a family's unique grief needs and to address those needs in a meaningful way.


Mike and his wife, Mary, live in Maple Lake and have three adult sons, Michael, Anthony, and Dominic.


Mike is a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Great River Regional Library System. Mike was a member of the Maple Lake Jaycees, Maple Lake Lions Club, and Maple Lake Chamber and served as Mayor of Maple Lake for 14 years. He is also a member of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, and Selected Independent Funeral Homes.


Mike enjoys the outdoors, gardening, sports, helping those in need, volunteering at Love Inc., and spending time with family and friends.

Art was raised in Kimball and graduated from Kimball High School in 1969. He graduated from the Mortuary Science Program at the University of Minnesota in 1973. Art worked as a funeral director in Mankato before coming home to operate Dingmann Funeral Care in 1976. 


Art is married to Marlene, and they live in Annandale. They have three adult children, Steven, Kimberly, and Brian, and five grandchildren, Isabelle, Ruby, Elias, Clara, and Anneliese. 


In December 2013, Art retired from working full-time. In July 2014, he passed the torch to his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Dana Dingmann. Art still helps out from time to time at the funeral home and is enjoying his retirement. 


Art was a member of the Annandale Lions Club and Cardinal Athletic Foundation. He also served for 10 years on the Children's Grief Connection Board of Directors and the Annandale Care Center Board. He enjoys golfing, traveling, and spoiling his grandchildren.

Marlene graduated from Kimball High School in 1969. From 1976 to 2009, she worked for Dingmann Funeral Care as an office administrator, aftercare counselor, and hairdresser. 


In 2009, Marlene retired to spend more time with her grandchildren. In July 2014, she and her husband, Art, passed the torch to their son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Dana Dingmann. 


Marlene is married to Art, and they have three adult children, Steven, Kimberly, and Brian, and five grandchildren, Isabelle, Ruby, Elias, Clara, and Anneliese 


Marlene is a member of the Annandale Improvement Club and St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She enjoys golfing, traveling, and especially playing with her grandchildren.

Laura graduated from Annandale High School in 1970 and earned her Associate of Arts degree from St. Cloud State University in 2006. She has been a member of the Dingmann Funeral Care team since 2003. 


Laura and her husband, Dean, reside in Annandale and have two adult children, Meggan and Logan, and three granddaughters, Danika, Rowan, and Celia. Laura enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going for walks, genealogy, and collecting coins.

Meet Arlo! Arlo is a Goldendoodle who was born in the fall of 2020 at Rosewood Kennel in Montevideo and joined the Dingmann family in December 2020. He started coming into Dingmann Funeral Care in the summer of 2021 and has been training with Off Leash K9 since then. Arlo keeps the staff company during the day in the Annandale location and is available upon request for families as a comfort animal.


Arlo enjoys running, chasing squirrels, chewing on stuffed animals, greeting visitors, and snuggling with anyone who is willing.
