So many neighborhood memories of Mildred and all the Shadduck's in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Ice skating, maple syrup gathering and boiling, and christmas tree trimming, usually accompanied by treats provided by Mildred. I will miss the last surviving neighborhood parent from those days.

Mildred was always a family favorite in the Swanson home. Vic and Tina, Bruce’s parents, often shared the story of the WWII plane being named for Mildred – a very special honor. We looked forward to her Christmas letters telling us about her family, whom she treasured. We pray that your memories will bring joy as you share her life with each other. We also pray for the Lord’s comfort. We rejoice in knowing that she is walking with Jesus, her Savior, and that we will see her again. Lovingly, Bruce and Pam Swanson
