    Joseph W. Dvorak, age 74, of St. Cloud, formerly of Annandale, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

    Memorial Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake with Pastor Marc Well Nagel officiating. Visitation will be held 3-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church.  A celebration will follow the service at The “V”.  A private interment will take place at the Kotilinek Family Farm at a later date.

    Joseph William Dvorak was born August 11, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Edward and Marie (Kasel) Dvorak. Joe grew up in North Minneapolis where he attended school and graduated with the Class of 1959 from DeLaSalle High School. Before beginning his own business ventures, Joe was employed by the Minneapolis Athletic Club, Coty Cosmetics, the Ford Motor Plant, and Montgomery Ward. With his entrepreneur spirit, Joe also owned and operated numerous businesses over the years including JJ’s Bar, Ellis’ Steakhouse, Annandale Decorating & Appliance and H.D.G. Marketing; he also partnered with his son, Mark, at I.V.P Travel, V.P. Tours and Whispering Pines Golf Course. Joe was awarded the Salesman of the Year for Coty Cosmetics and the Super Seller Award from Real Resorts in Cancun.  In 1961, he married Sharon McIntosh and she later preceded him in death.  On August 17, 1997, Joe was united in marriage to Kathleen Rae Powers at the Maple Lake Community Park. Joe was a past member of the Annandale Lions Club and the Annandale Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and grandchildren, traveling with his wife and children, playing cards, bowling, and attending family barbeques and gatherings.

    Joe is survived by his wife Kathy of St. Cloud; children Wendy (Tom) Kotilinek, Jodie (Bob) Pawelk both of Maple Lake, and Mark (Amy) Dvorak of St. Augusta; step children Randy (Stephanie) Puncochar of St. Michael, Perry Puncochar of Maple Lake and Debby (Jerry) Glunz of Buffalo; grandchildren Chase (Jackie) Kotilinek, Derek Kotilinek (significant other, Sara Ward), Dylan Kotilinek, Jamie (Nick) Cook, Jessica Marie (Brandon) Smith, and Jacob and Kendall Dvorak; step grandchildren Adam (Michelle) Puncochar, Rochelle Puncochar, Brittany (Danny) Hackenmueller, Joey (Kelsie) Puncochar, Jesse Puncochar, Jenny Puncochar, Matthew Glunz, and Michaela Glunz; great grandchildren Hailey Kotilinek, Charlotte and Harper Cook, Brody Smith and Baby Kotilinek; step great grandchildren Maddilyn Puncochar, Amelia Hackenmueller and Baby Hackenmueller.  He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Marie Dvorak; grandson David Pawelk; sister Mary Jeanne Cassanova; and brother Larry Dvorak.
