Abriel Hope Smart was delivered on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

    Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Riverside Church, Big Lake. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Abriel will be buried along with her brother, Berkley, in Annandale.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

    Abriel Hope Smart filled her family’s heart with love and joyful anticipation as she grew in her mother’s womb for 31 weeks. Abriel had an expected arrival date of July 22, 2016. The joyful anticipation turned into sorrowful heartache, as Abriel’s heart stopped beating. Abriel was born into her parent’s arms at 7:58 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital. She weighed 3 lbs. 11 oz. and was 16 ½ inches long. A precious gift from above, Abriel blessed her parents with the sound of her heartbeat and the flutter of her movements. The hopes and dreams for Abriel will become cherished memories for all those who so dearly love her.

    Abriel is survived by her parents, Matt and Katie Smart of Annandale; big sisters, Keara and Ariana; grandparents, Gary & Louise Mohs of Kimball, and Tom & Junie Smart of Annandale; aunts and uncle, Alli Mohs, Darrell Elliott, and Tara Claborn. Abriel was preceded in death by 3 siblings, including Berkley.

    Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
