Vonne F. Cleveland, age 83, of South Haven, died on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Private Memorial Services for immediate family members will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Maple Lake with Rev. Culynn Curtis officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Vonne's service will be webcast for extended family members and friends. Vonne Faye Cleveland was born September 18, 1936 in Montevideo, Minnesota the only child to Oliver and Elvira (Mjunes) Wik. Vonne grew up in Marshall where she graduated from high school in 1954. On June 15, 1957, Vonne was united in marriage to Richard Cleveland at First English Lutheran Church of Marshall. In addition to providing a loving home for their three children, Vonne did the bookkeeping for their store, Cleve's Red Owl and SuperValu in Shakopee. Vonne was a member of the Shakopee American Legion and VFW Auxillaries. She was as a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Maple Lake, where she enjoyed the time of prayer, fellowship, and a cup of coffee with her friends. Vonne and Dick loved to travel together. She also enjoyed her dog, playing cards and reading.
Vonne is survived by her children, Mike of Bloomington, Shelly (Randy) Weckman of Shakopee, and Mark of Bloomington; grandchildren, Jacob (significant other, Tiffany Ellingson) Weckman, Jeff (Emily) Weckman, and Jackie (Ryan) Bigot; and great grandchildren, McKenna, Evelyn, Grayson, Shelby, Silas, and Elin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, and parents, Oliver and Elvira.
