Travis Samuel Kurkowski

Travis S. Kurkowski, age 36, of Annandale, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2020.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in French Lake Township. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. on Friday, January 17, and 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Memorials are preferred.

Travis Samuel Kurkowski was born on March 30, 1983 in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from Annandale High School in 2001. Travis had a heart of gold and made friends wherever he went. He was a lover of all things outdoors and found so much joy in making other people laugh. His free spirit and infectious laugh will be missed by all.

He is survived by his sweetheart Meghan Doyle and her daughter Viola; his mother, Cynthia Kurkowski; father, Lester Hoikka; grandparents, Gene and JoAnn Kurkowski; aunts and uncles, Jerry (Patsy) Hoikka, Carol (Ron) Walker, Midge Satak, Helen Hiatt, John (Vicky) Kurkowski, Chuck Kurkowski, Pam (Reed) Kurkowski and Cheryl Dylkowski; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Alice and Jacob Hoikka and Bernadine Colosimo; and uncles Dave Satak, Rocky Navarro, Steve Kurkowski, and Jessie Dylkowski.

The casket bearers will be Drew Lipponen, Mike Korhonen, Shane Vashro, Joe Finneman, Tyler Martin, and Jim Otto. Arrangements are entrusted by Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services.
