Terri Nelson Obituary

Terri J. Nelson, age 64, of Annandale died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a 13 month battle with lung cancer.

A Celebration of Life honoring Terri will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the South Haven City Hall.

Terri Joan Nelson was born May 6, 1956 in St. Cloud to Phillip and Eva (Fieldseth) Miller. She grew up in Annandale until moving to New Hope in 7th grade. Terri graduated from Armstrong High School in Plymouth with the Class of 1974. On July 29, 1983, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Nelson at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale. She provided a loving and caring home for their three children in Annandale. Terri enjoyed tending to her flowers and being outdoors. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Terri gave freely of her time and was always willing to accept others into her home and her family.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny of Annandale; daughters, Jill Goetz (Mike) Charboneau of South Haven, Ashley Nelson (fiance, Larry Loucks) of Nashwauk and Kayla Nelson of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Tyler and Adelyn Charboneau and Tucker and Kylie Nelson; brother, Jerry Miller of Annandale; and sister, Carol Hempel of Clinton, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Eva Miller; sister, Barb Miller; and brother-in-law, Gerald Hempel.
