Shirley Rivera Obituary

Shirley A. Rivera, age 85, of Danbury, Wisconsin, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Monticello Hospital.

Private family services will be held in Chicago, followed by burial at Montrose Cemetery, Chicago.

Shirley Ann Weber was born April 20, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Lillian (Wiscour) Weber. She grew up in Chicago and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1954. On January 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jose "Joe" Rivera. They made their home in Chicago, where their two children were raised. In their retirement years, Shirley and Joe enjoyed time in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Nancy) Rivera and Susan Fiedler; 4 grandchildren, Michael, John, Lyndsay, and Joey; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
