Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake with Father Kevin Magner as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery on County Road 37 near Maple Lake. A prayer service will held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Scott Joseph Hollencamp was born May 2, 1986 in Duluth, Minnesota to Joe and Anne (Fobbe) Hollencamp. Scott grew up in Park City, Utah until the 8th grade when the family moved to Maple Lake. He graduated from Maple Lake High School with the Class of 2004 and furthered his education at Universal Technical Institute in Pennsylvania. In 2008, he started his own online business HIDSRUS. He loved working on cars and had a few favorites; a silver Corrado and his maroon Nissan 300ZX.

Scott had a constant companion, his African Grey, Speckie. They were always together riding in his car or hanging out in the garage while he worked on vehicles. Scott had a kind soul that could light up your world and had a contagious laugh. He was always willing to lend a hand, especially with car problems. He always seemed to know the problem and how to fix it.

Scott is survived by his parents, Joe and Anne of Maple Lake; brothers, Jerry Hollencamp of Maple Lake; Kent (Laura) Hollencamp of Hanover; sister, Samantha Hollencamp (Tim Rutledge) of New Prague; niece, Addison Hollencamp; nephew, Jackson Hollencamp; grandmother, Naomi Fobbe; parrot, Speckie; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Hollencamp; grandfather, Donald Fobbe; aunt, Ellen Fobbe; and uncles, Jerry Hollencamp, Conrad Hollencamp, and George Veches.

Alison Totz and Krista Elsenpeter will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
