Sandra Kay (Hilary) Rothstein

Sandra Kay (Hilary) Rothstein, age 68, of New Hope, died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 5005 Northwest Blvd, Plymouth, MN; 763-550-1000. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 9:30 am. Rev. Tom Stoebig will be officiating the service. The burial will take place at the Maine Prairie Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation in Sandy’s memory.

Sandra was born to Neil and Sally Hilary on November 8, 1951. She grew up in Maine Prairie Township and lived in Kimball. Sandy was united in marriage to John L. Rothstein on November 29, 1969. She was able to stay at home with her children for many years to raise them, manage the house, volunteer, and cared for many other children over the years. Sandy worked at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed crafts, camping, cooking, and baking. She loved being with friends, holding babies, and spending time with her family.

Sandy is survived by husband, John L Rothstein of New Hope; children, Jeremy (Kathy) of New Hope, MN, Joshua (Angela) of Vadnais Heights, MN, Jenina (Wes Boyette) of St. Michael, MN; brothers and sister, George (Susan) Hilary of Prescott Valley, AZ, Carol (John) Geers of Rochester, and Delroy (Pamela) Hilary of Watkins; 7 grandchildren, John C, Basil, Gavin, Rianna, Adriana, Caleb and Jonas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The pallbearers will be Sandy's grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services.
