Rose A. O'Fallon, age 84, of Annandale, died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Annandale Care Center.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Annandale United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Baker officiating. Private burial will be held at Swan Lake Cemetery, Dassel. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
Rose Annie O'Fallon was born March 5, 1935 in Dassel, Minnesota to Gustaf and Esther (Nelson) Freeman. She attended Maynard Lake School and graduated from Dassel High School in 1952. After graduation, Rose went to work as a secretary for several firms in the Minneapolis area, finally retiring from Johnson & Johnson in 1990. On March 10, 1981 Rose was united in marriage to her classmate and best friend, John O'Fallon, in Reno, Nevada. Rose enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards, politics, and traveling.
Rose is survived by her husband of 38 years, John of Annandale; daughter, Laurel (David) Geesey of Cokato; son, Randall Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; step-son, Mike (Stacy) O'Fallon of Eden Prairie; step-daughters,Patricia O'Fallon of California, and Mary (Bill) Lindemann of California; sister, Dolores Hogberg of Annandale; two sisters-in-law, Betty Freeman of Annandale and Sandra Freeman of Dassel; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence, Earl, and Clifford Freeman; sisters, Fern Freeman and Grace Hendrickson; sister-in-law, Louise Freeman; and brothers-in-law, Warren Hogberg and Gerhard Hendrickson.
Sharon Planer will provide music for the service. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burail & Cremation Services of Annandale.
