Robert A. Lindom, age 74, of Clearwater died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Annandale Care Center.
A private memorial service will be held at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Burial will take place in the spring at Selijord Lutheran Cemetery, Clearbrook. The memorial service will be live streamed on the funeral home website.
Robert Allen Lindom was born September 2, 1946 in Bagley to Roy and Esther (Fuglestad) Lindom. He grew up in Clearbrook. On October 31, 1969, he was united in marriage to Violet "Nickie" Hooker in Watertown, SD. Bob worked as a forklift mechanic. He loved to restore old cars and hotrods. He enjoyed car shows, especially the "Back to the '50s" car show, held annually at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds. He loved to be with his pets and to spend time with family.
Bob is survived by his two children, Jayd (Becky) Lindom of Monticello and Heidi (Edward) Vinkemeier of Fairhaven; sister, Marilyn (Terry) Blom of Sioux City, IA; sister-in-law, JoAnn Lindom of Dayton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Esther; wife, Nickie; and brother, Clayton.
