Randall "Randy" Frost, age 65, of Maple Lake, died August 14, 2021 at his home.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Bridgeview Assembly of God, Big Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church with a reception following. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website. Family requests that colorful clothing be worn to the service in celebration of Randy.
Randall Arthur Frost was born October 13, 1955 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Charles "Jack" and Betty (Schultz) Frost. Randy grew up in the Cherokee Park neighborhood of St. Paul. He attended school in St. Paul, followed by trade school for painting at Dunwoody in Minneapolis. He resided in Rockford, before moving to Maple Lake in 1992. Randy was united in marriage to Cassandra Frost; she preceded him in death. Randy later married Diana Marie Cox on May 3, 1986 in St. Michael. He worked as a delivery driver in the Twin City metro area for numerous companies over the years. As a firm believer in God, Randy attended and participated in music ministry at a number of different churches as well as at Harvest Outreach. Randy was a gifted and passionate musician. He played the piano, saxophone, and guitar, and wrote his own songs and even recorded an album. When Randy wasn't making music, he could often be found listening to it. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball, tennis, and ice-skating. He recently took an interest in golfing.
Randy is survived by his wife, Diana of Demorest, GA; children, Daniel (Hayley) Frost of Spring Hill, FL, Mandy (Phil) Nelson of Trinity, FL, Jesse (Heidi) Frost of Maple Lake, and Katrina Frost (fiance, Carlos Urbaez) of Annandale; 9 grandchildren, Carley, Kylie, Carmody, Laurelle, Cassie, Ezra, Colbie, Daxon, and Zoie; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cassandra Frost; children, Travis and Jason Frost; parents, Charles and Betty Frost; brothers, Jim and Dave Frost; uncle, Fred Frost; and aunt, Georgiann Mason.
Randy's children will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
