Pamela Joyce Notch was born May 7, 1960, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Herbert and Joyce (McKenzie) Notch. Pam grew up in the St. Cloud area, and graduated from Tech High School. She then furthered her education at St. Cloud State University, obtaining her bachelor's degree. Pam always had a soft spot in her heart for children. She worked as a preschool teacher for Stearns County Head Start for a number of years, before opening her home as a daycare provider. Pam eventually went to work at Creative Memories as a machine operator before working for the City of St. Cloud in the streets department. Pam enjoyed sewing and quilting, along with reading. She relished being in the presence of her family and nothing brought her greater joy than being a grandma to her 7 grandchildren.
Pam is survived by her children, Rudy (Stacey) Opitz of St. Cloud, Kathryn (Daniel) Richter of Eden Valley, and Liasa (Peter) Spellacy of Sartell; 7 adoring grandchildren, Kodiak, Shelby, Addyson, Zoey, Miesha, Ava, and Harper; mother, Joyce Notch (Ron Mueller) of Luxemburg; brother, Thomas Notch of Waconia; her companion, Mark Appling of Waite Park; and other family members and friends.
