Nora Irene (Schmoldt) Peatrowsky

Nora I. Peatrowsky, age 90, of Annandale, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Annandale Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the church. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website.

Nora Irene Peatrowsky was born July 11, 1931 in Beemer, Nebraska to Herman and Alma (Stouffer) Schmoldt. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school. On January 20, 1947, Nora was united in marriage to Walter Peatrowsky in West Point, Nebraska. They made their home in Nebraska, before moving to Minnesota in 1957. Nora and Walt were blessed with six children. While Walt worked outside the home, Nora worked hard to make their house a home, and to fill their home with love. She took pride in her baking, tending to her garden, and canning. Nora's greatest enjoyment in life was the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nora is survived by her children, Pat (George) Maurer of South Haven, Judy (Rob) Jensen of Annandale, Dan (Joan) Peatrowsky of South Haven, Steve (Marilyn) Peatrowsky of Annandale, Pam (Jerry) Rudolph of Annandale, and Bonnie (Terry) Capes of South Haven; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Peatrowsky of Fremont, Nebraska; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents, Herman and Alma Schmoldt; and siblings, Evie Field, Raymond, Walt, and Harry Schmoldt.

Nora's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
