Maureen Marguerite Brennan was born June 1, 1937, in St. Paul to Howard and Marguerite (Carney) Brennan. She grew up in St. Paul, graduating from St. Joseph's Catholic School in St. Paul where she developed strong values and a deep-rooted faith. After completing her high school education, she was united in marriage to Harvey William Fraber at St. Vincent Catholic Church in St. Paul. They made their home in Roseville. Harvey worked at Gillette Company while Maureen cared for their family and home. She embraced the role of a dedicated homemaker, finding joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and loving environment in their home.
In 2017, Maureen and Harvey decided to make their cherished cabin on Pleasant Lake in Annandale their permanent residence. This lakeside cabin had been a cherished retreat for the family for over 50 years.
Maureen is survived by her children, Kelleen (Steven) Alberg of Buffalo and Kevin Fraber (Lynn Ouimet) of South Haven; grandchildren, Jillian (Jason) Post and Andrew (Hannah) Alberg; great-grandchildren, Gwen Post and Wade Harvey Post; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Maureen's family will serve as casket bearers. St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
