Louis C. Nash, age 75, of St. Cloud, formerly of Annandale, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Savannah Prairie Assisted Living in Kimball.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. The service will be livestreamed on the Dingmann Funeral Care website.
Louis Charles Nash was born on April 12, 1946 in Alberta Township near Gilman to Louis and Pauline (Spiczka) Nash. He grew up in Lastrup and graduated from Pierz Memorial High School with the Class of 1964. Skip enlisted in the United States Marine Corps; he honorably served in the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge, he lived in Fridley. He was married to Linda Gohl and they moved to Annandale; they had five children. Louis worked as a machinist for FMC Corp. in Fridley for over 25 years. In recent years, Lou lived in St. Cloud where he was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. Louis enjoyed gardening, wood carving, collecting, reading and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his children, Paul Nash of Cannon Falls, Rebecca (Dan) Peterson of Annandale, Jennifer Nash (significant other, Kelly O'Brien) of Buffalo, Leonard Nash of New York Mills, and Rachel (Abe) Mrosla of Baxter; 5 grandchildren, Hans, Charlie, Lauren and Kate Peterson and Corbin Mrosla; siblings, Linda (Cel) Gall, Paula Trapp, Tim (Carol) Nash, Sandy (Donny) Majerus, Rodney Nash, Leslie Nash and Tom (Cathy) Nash. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Beverly Nash.
