Lorn Mercedes (Lund) Lund

Mercedes Lund, age 30, of Pine River, formerly of St. Cloud and Annandale, died Saturday, August 29, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained during an automobile accident.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Annandale with Rev. Sandie Murray officiating. Please feel free to bring a chair. Physical distancing will be observed while at the cemetery.

Lorn Mercedes Lund was born March 21, 1990 in Lancaster, California to Nikki Rawson and Michael Lund. She grew up in St. Cloud and Annandale. She attended school in Maple Lake, where she graduated with the Class of 2008. Mercedes was currently attending Central Lakes College in Brainerd for nursing. For the past couple of years, Mercedes, along with her children, Josiah and Baylee, made their home in Pine River, as she worked as a CNA in Cross Lake at Whitefish at the Lakes Senior Living. In her spare time, Mercedes enjoyed shopping and spending time at the lake. She loved to surround herself with her dear friends and family. Above all, Mercedes treasured the time she was able to spend with her children.

Mercedes is survived by her children, Josiah Frausto and Baylee Ortiz; father, Mike Lund (Julie Braun) of Annandale; boyfriend, Tim Flatt of Pine River; step-mother, Melissa (Chad) Stenson of South Haven; step-father, Richard Spencer; siblings, Chelsey Vance, Syvonna Trettel, Mike Thomas, and Jennifer Rawson; grandparents, Owen and Marlene Lund of Bird Island, Jim and Linda Vance of Annandale, and Philip Rawson of Florida; uncle, Robert Rawson; and her other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nikki Spencer; sister, Jamie Rawson; grandparents, Kathleen Rawson, James and Pat Vance; and great-uncle, Robert Howard.

Urnbearers will be Chelsey Vance, Syvonna Trettel, Alexus Jackson, Mike Johnson and Tim Flatt. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
