Kyle A. Erickson, age 36, of Big Lake formerly of Maple Lake, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Annandale Care Center as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Visitation will begin at noon with a Remembrance Service at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Annandale. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at The V in Maple Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Aeverie Erickson Benefit account. Kyle Andrew Erickson was born on September 15, 1989, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Brad Erickson and Jill (Brausen) Erickson. Kyle grew up in Maple Lake and was a 2008 graduate of Maple Lake High School. He was baptized at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Kyle proudly worked for MP Nexlevel. He was also a member of the Local 49ers Union. Kyle's love for the outdoors was evident in his many hobbies: he reveled in motorcycle rides, dirt biking, snowmobiling, BMXing, fishing, and hunting. He loved it when those activities intertwined with his family and friends. His days were often filled with adventure and joy, especially when he spent time with his greatest treasure, his daughter Aeverie. Kyle was her biggest supporter, attending her activities, especially softball, and relishing all the moments they spent together. Kyle is survived by his daughter, Aeverie; parents, Brad (Dinah) Erickson of Maple Lake and Jill Schrupp of Hibbing; siblings, Jade (Zach) Johnson of South Haven, Molly (Adam) Holmgren of Maple Lake, and Ryan Schrupp of Hibbing; grandparents, Carol Brausen of Annandale and Doug Erickson of Blaine; step-grandpa, Terry Johnson of Buffalo; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garry Brausen and Carolyn Erickson; aunt, Jenna LeLoup; and step-grandma, Betty Lou Johnson. Aeverie Erickson, Ryan Schrupp, Zach Johnson, Adam Holmgren, Elliott Nelson, Dan Wurm, and Matt Olson will serve as urn bearers.
