Kenneth Benjamin Lantto

Kenneth B. Lantto, age 81, of French Lake Township, died Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, French Lake with Pastor Jerome Nikunen officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, French Lake. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Kenneth Benjamin Lantto was born August 19, 1942, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Benjamin and Elma (Forare) Lantto. He grew up in French Lake Township, along with his brother and sister. He attended country school at Wright County Public School District #138. He then attended Annandale High School, graduating in 1960. In 1973, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from St. Cloud State University. Ken went to work for the Minnesota State Auditor's Department before working at the Wright County Auditor's Office. When Ken retired from the Auditor's Office, he joined his brother on the farm. Kenny enjoyed working and was always looking forward to chatting with folks. He enjoyed tending to the cattle and going for drives in the countryside.

Ken is survived by his sister, Janet Gambrino of St. Cloud and brother, Frank Lantto of French Lake Township; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Elma and brother-in-law, Thomas Gambrino.
