Joanne Ruth (Carroll) Beaver

Joanne R. Beaver, age 68, of Buffalo, died Thursday, December 30, 2021, at her home under the care of hospice and her family knowing she was deeply loved.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville Township, rural Annandale with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Rob Jarvis will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.

Joanne Ruth Beaver was born January 25, 1953, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Richard Tolan and Ruth Bosworth. As a young girl, Joanne's mother, Ruth, married William Carroll, who then adopted Joanne. She grew up in Minneapolis, where she graduated from North High School in 1971. On February 5, 1982, Joanne was united in marriage to Gregory Beaver in Oak Harbor, Washington. The couple made their home, along with their two daughters, across the United States, depending on where Greg was stationed. Washington, California, Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, and back to Minnesota, were all home to the family over the years. Joanne always worked hard to make their house a home, and she relished in her role as a military wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed antiquing, crafts, baking and cooking, with her homemade soups being some of the family favorites. Joanne loved the Lord and over the years was an active member of different congregations. Joanne cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 39 years, Greg of Buffalo; daughters, Kristen (David) Barstow of Plymouth, and Erica (Adam) Willprecht of Annandale; 5 adoring grandchildren, Carter, Trinity, Jeremiah, Troy, and Matthew; sisters, Kathy Elliott of Las Vegas, Jane (Mark) Dorfner of Illinois, and Brenda (Steve) Jagmohan of Florida; and nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and William Carroll, and Richard Tolan; and her grandparents, Ira and Florence Bosworth.

Joanne's grandsons, Carter, Troy, Jeremiah, and Matthew will serve as urn bearers, with Joanne's granddaughter, Trinity, serving as honorary urn bearer. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
