Jeanette M. Parrott, age 92, of Kimball, died peacefully on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at CentraCare Health, Paynesville Hospital.

A private celebration of life will be held. Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

Jeanette was born February 8, 1929 to William and Myrtle (Hammerback) Sullivan in Minneapolis. She grew up in Robbinsdale and graduated from Robbinsdale High School with the Class of 1947. A year later, on August 14, 1948, Jeanette married Verdon Parrott. They raised their two daughters, Nancy and Jackie, in Minneapolis. They retired to Brooksville, FL in 1984. While in Florida, Jeanette enjoyed golfing, line dancing, and spending time with friends. In 1994, after Verdon died, Jeanette moved to Kimball, Minnesota to be closer to her daughter, Jackie. In 2003, Jeanette moved to Indiana to be near her daughter, Nancy; and in 2016 she moved back to Minnesota where she was able to spend valuable time with her sisters. Jeanette was fortunate to have good health until the end of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Craig) LaPierre of Elkhart, IN and Jackie (John) Bolvin of South Haven; six grandchildren, Dana (Tommy) Lenahan, Darin (Amanda) Lundberg, Michael, Michelle and Mark Bolvin, and Melissa (Gary) Peters; eight great-grandchildren, Meika Kolb, Brynn Lenahan, Lexia Bolvin, Kadon Pauls, Levi Bolvin, Maxwell Lundberg, Logan Peters and Maisie Peters; and sister, Dianne Carlson of Sandstone. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Sullivan; husband, Verdon Parrott; sisters, June Barkhoff and Margaret Kottke; and infant brother, James Sullivan.
