James Donald Nystrom Mancini was born James Darin Vincent to Debra Kay Vincent on April 21, 1998, in Casper, Wyoming. He moved to Minnesota in 2000. James lived with foster parents, Dick and Leanne Evenson, for 2 years in Pequot Lakes, before moving into his new home in Kimball in May of 2004. James was adopted by Betty Nystrom and Bruce Mancini of Kimball on October 25, 2005. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball on April 15, 2006. He graduated from Kimball Area High School in 2017. James was employed by Crown Underground, St. Cloud.
James loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, snowboarding, cheering on Green Bay, gummy bears, and Mt. Dew. James loved his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. He had a witty sense of humor, which he often used to get out of trouble or to attract new friends. James had a knack for brightening anyone's day and taught us how to love life and one another. He will be missed for his willingness to help anyone at any time, and for his infectious laugh!
He is survived by his parents, Betty Nystrom and Bruce Mancini; birth mother, Debra Hudson; siblings, Marakah (Vera) Mancini de Leon, Jordan (Stacy) Mancini, Kateri Mancini (Mike Gallagher), Jessica Mancini, Allan (Lindsey) Mancini, Kaylyn Mancini (Alex Rose), Dustin Mancini, and Seahara Mancini; 11 nieces and nephews; biological grandparents, Geoffrey and Eileen Lund; foster mother, Leann Evenson; and lots of extended family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his adoptive grandparents, Charles and Grace Mancini, and Manley and Dolores Nystrom; uncles, Donald Nystrom and Larry Nystrom; cousin, Scott Nystrom; and foster father, Dick Evenson.
