Gladys Stuhr Obituary

Gladys M. Stuhr, age 87, of Maple Grove, formerly of Monticello and Annandale, died Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by the love and care of her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery, east Maple Lake. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wright County Community Action (WCCA) Headstart.

Gladys Minnie Logeais was born October 4, 1934 in Annandale, Minnesota to Joseph and Emma (Miller) Logeais. Glady grew up in Annandale where she graduated from high school. On May 25, 1957, Glady was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Gerald G. Stuhr at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale. They lived in numerous locations in Minnesota, raising their family in Columbia Heights. They retired to Bass Lake, near Annandale. They later moved to Monticello, and after Gerald's death, Glady moved to Maple Grove to be closer to family. Glady worked at LaBelle Moving and Storage and Hoerner Waldorf Corp. In her retirement years, she volunteered at hospice, Wright County Community Action (WCCA) Headstart, Senior Companion, and senior dining programs. Glady enjoyed spending time with family and friends, laughing at a good joke, thrift shopping, and crafting. Known as a good listener and compassionate to all, she welcomed everyone with a smile and hug.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Julie) of Coon Rapids, Christopher (Mary) of Coon Rapids, Jona (Jeffrey) Bergeson of Maple Grove, and Jeffrey (Valerie) of Chaska; foster son, Tab (Mary) Abraham of Portland, OR; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Karen Sommers (friend, John) of Annandale, Eva Jahnke of Elk River, and Janet (Bruce) Berg of Alexandria; sister-in-law, Carol Logeais of Andover; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Glady was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; 2 grandchildren, Rachel and Mikayla; and siblings, Doris Logeais, Dorothy Verhey, and Ralph Logeais.

Adam Stuhr, Jacob Stuhr, Kyle Stuhr, Thomas Stuhr, and Blake Bergeson will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
