George Robert Pribyl was born July 31, 1945 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to John "Jack" and Doris (Elsenpeter) Pribyl. George made his home in Maple Lake, where he attended school at St. Timothy Catholic School. He then went to work at the Carlson Doll Factory. During the summer, George always looked forward to spending time at Camp Friendship, where he was one of their first employees and eventually attended as a camper. George moved to Golden Valley, where he was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Crystal. Through Opportunity Workshop, George received training for his future work endeavors at Wendy's and then at McDonald's in Golden Valley. He remained working at McDonald's for 17 years. In 2012, George moved to his current home in Buffalo. In his spare time, George enjoyed bowling in Golden Valley, attending bible studies, cheering on the Minnesota Twins, and watching the Harlem Globetrotters. George was also a huge Elvis fan. George loved company and was always up for visiting with family and friends. Watching parades and similar festivities were something he always looked forward to. Maple Lake's Saint Patrick's Day Parade and the Pribyl 4th of July Tractor Parade were among his favorites. George always liked to attend church festivals and activities and loved the time he was able to spend with his St. Timothy classmates at their 50th Class Reunion.

George is survived by his siblings, John (Barb) Pribyl of Crosslake, Marie (Randy) Mavencamp of Maple Lake, Margi (special friend, Larry Czarnecki) Kronquist of Maple Lake, Fred (special friend, Martha Ocampo) Pribyl of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Ted (Angie) Pribyl of Maple Lake; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, caregivers, and friends.
