Ernest Lester Pribyl

Ernest "Butch" L. Pribyl, age 75, of Buffalo, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at J.A. Wedum Hospice Residence, Brooklyn Park.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake with Deacon Ron Freeman officiating.  A private family interment will take place at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery, East Maple Lake. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.in Maple Lake.

Ernest Lester Pribyl was born January 20,1945 in Maple Lake to Ernest J. and Florence J. (Mueller) Pribyl. Butch was raised in Maple Lake and graduated from high school with the Class of 1963. He was united in marriage to Judith A. Ludgate on December 13, 1974, and they later divorced. Butch lived most of his adult life in the Twin Cities area where he worked for ATS & R Architects and Engineers, retiring in 2005. He remained in the metro, until moving to Buffalo in 2015. Ernie loved spending time with his family, drawing, painting, fishing in the ocean, eating and watching the news.

Ernie is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Ben) Elsenpeter of Maple Lake; grandchildren, Gracie and Bryn Elsenpeter of Maple Lake; stepchildren, Jeff (Teri) Pribyl and Lori Miller both of Maple Lake; siblings, Jeanne (Charlie) Christopherson of Battle Lake, Debbie (Brad) Norine of Bonita Springs, FL and Keith (Melissa) Pribyl of Fountain Hills, AZ; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bette Cantin.
