Erma J. Goff, age 60, of Maple Lake, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 after battling metastatic breast cancer for over 2 years. She died at her home under the love and care of her family and CentraCare Hospice.
Private Memorial Services will be held at the Kimball Christian Church in Kimball, Minnesota.
Erma Jean Goff was born January 7, 1961 in Louisville, KY to Carmon and Patty (Dils) Goff. Erma grew up in Brooklyn Park, until the family moved to rural Annandale in 1975. She graduated with the Class of 1979 from Annandale High School. She then furthered her education at Lowthian School of Design in Minneapolis, obtaining a certificate of fashion design. She worked at Temroc Metals in Medina for over 20 years. After retiring from Temroc, she pursued a degree in graphic design from Metropolitan Community College. Erma made her home in Minneapolis until October of 2018, when she moved back home to Maple Lake. She was a member of Kimball Christian Church. She loved to sing and spend time near the ocean. She was an avid cat lover, Star Wars fanatic and artist.
She is survived by her father, Carmon Goff of Maple Lake; sister and brother, Scharlet Goff of Clearwater and Edward (Shari) Goff of Maple Lake; four nieces and nephews, Adrienne (Pete) Edmonson, Justin (Jess) Goff, Erin (Nate) Ehlert, and Devin Goff; ten great nieces and great nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patty.
