Dale M. Nyren, age 85 of South Haven, died on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale.
Dale Morris Nyren was born on July 29, 1938, in Blackduck, Minnesota to Julian and Corrine (Unger) Nyren. He was a graduate of Kimball High School. Dale lived in the South Haven area nearly all his life. He worked as a carpenter and owned Dale Nyren Construction. On February 15, 1958, he married Sharon McGee. Dale was an outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching and feeding birds, as well as tending to his garden. He loved to grow plants from seed to share with his family and friends for their own gardens. When he was not canning his bumper crops from his garden, you could find him woodworking.
Dale is survived by his three sons, Jeff (Candy) of South Haven, Scott (Lori) of Clear Lake, and Wade (Tina) of Rice; grandchildren, Ashley, Tasha, Parker, Hunter, Nicholas, Presley, and Brennan; great-grandchildren, Marshall, Makenna, Julian, Miles, and Grayson; siblings, Duane Nyren, Sandra Ransom, Susan Cleveland, Colin (Karen) Nyren, Andy (Denise) Nyren, Gary (Jane) Nyren, and Julie (Paul) Janski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Corrine; wife, Sharon; and daughter, Roberta "Robin".
Dale's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
