Bernardine Mary Ann (Bayerl) Weber

Bernardine M. Weber, age 91, of Lakeville and formerly of Annandale and Minnetonka, died Friday, January 31, 2020 at The Fountains at Hosanna in Lakeville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Fr. Andrew Stueve will serve as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Howard Lake Cemetery in Howard Lake. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Cloud Hospital Hospice.

Bernardine Mary Ann Weber was born to Bernard and Martha (Linkowski) Bayerl on December 28, 1928 in Winsted. She grew up in Winsted, graduating from Holy Trinity High School with the Class of 1947. On May 6, 1950, Bernardine was united in marriage to Kenneth Weber in St. Paul. They owned and operated Weber's Landscaping and Weber's Folly Greenhouse in Minnetonka. Kenneth retired in 1984 and they moved to their nursery in Annandale, where they continued to run a smaller greenhouse business. After Kenneth's death in 1988, Bernie continued to run Weber's Folly Greenhouse on her own. Due to early signs of Alzheimer's, Bernie retired in 2010. She entered Annandale Memory Care in 2012. In 2013, she moved to The Fountains at Hosanna in Lakeville to be closer to her daughter, Kathleen. Bernie loved working in the greenhouse and was well known for her beautiful plants and vegetables. She spent her winter months volunteering at St. Cloud Hospital.

Bernie is survived by her children, Kathleen (James) Arhart of Lakeville, Kay Ann (Tad) Anderson of Minnetonka and Kristen Weber of Apple Valley; sister-in-law, Deborah Weber of Rockford; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Keith Weber; brother, Robert Bayerl; and sister Genevieve Fryer.

The casket bearers will be Kevin and Jake Weber, Dan Zezza, James Arhart and Andrew DiLorenzo. Music for the service will be provided by St. Ignatius Music Ministry. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
