Bernadine G. Wilson, age 94, of Faribault, formerly of Maple Lake, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at The Emeralds at Faribault.
Private Burial will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Bernadine Grace Wilson was born March 8, 1926 in Minneapolis to Edwin and Grace (Buchanan) Dahlman. She graduated from Edison High School. On May 19, 1945, Bernadine was united in marriage to James Wilson in Minneapolis. They lived in Coon Rapids for 20 years prior to moving to Maple Lake. They lived in Annandale when James died in 1991. Bernie moved back to Maple Lake in 2014 and to The Emeralds at Faribault when her health began to fail. In addition to caring for her family, Bern worked at V Stores. She enjoyed sewing, listening to music, and playing the piano.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Thomas) Sheldon of Northfield; son, Brian Wilson of Rockford; grandchild, Matthew (Lindsay) Sheldon; two great grandchildren, James and Grace; sister, Betty Barott; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Grace Dahlman; sisters, Shar Dircks and Delores Borkoski; and brother, Keith Dahlman.
