Audrey Jean (Giossi) Elfering

Audrey Jean Elfering, age 72, of Annandale, Minnesota entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She died comfortable with family by her side at home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Heartland Evangelical Free Church in Annandale with Pastor Denny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Southside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday and beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, both at Heartland Evangelical Free Church. The funeral service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website.

Audrey was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota to James and Coleta (Riesgraf) Giossi. She and Gene have lived in Annandale for the past fourteen years and have enjoyed their winters in Winter Haven, Florida for the past 18 years. Before Annandale, they lived in Saint Cloud, Minnesota and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Audrey was a natural saleswoman and was successful in everything that she did. She even achieved a station wagon while selling Tupperware in the 80's. She had an opportunity to try various careers in her life but found her passion in helping others through naturopathy. Audrey loved to help others. She would see a need that someone had and would act on it without hesitation. She had a bold faith and wasn't afraid to let the holy spirit guide her in her daily walk. She also loved to golf, garden, read and of course, shop.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Gene; her daughters, Lynette Conrad (Patrick) and Sarah Didrikson (Mark); her bonus children, Gary Elfering (Dana) and Sue Thomson (Dan); brother, John; grandchildren, Nick, Neal, Ben, Amanda, Ryan, Lucy, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Mabel; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Terrance; and parents, James and Coleta Giossi.

Gary Elfering, Dan Thomson, Mark Didrikson, Patrick Condra, Ben Thomson, Ryan Thomson, Neal Mayes, and Nick Elfering will serve as casket bearers. Megan Carl will provide music for the service. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
