Angeline "Angie" Klein, age 94, of Delano, formerly of Maple Lake, died Monday, June 3, 2019 at The Legacy of Delano.
Funeral Liturgy will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake with Deacon Steve Yanish officiating. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral chapel.
Angeline Beatrice Klein was born July 30, 1924 in Hutchinson to Wenceslaus and Caroline (Wosmek) Pulkrabek. She grew up in Silver Lake and graduated from Silver Lake High School with the Class of 1942. On May 15, 1947, Angie was united in marriage to Ernest Klein. They lived in numerous locations before settling in rural Maple Lake in 1966. Ernest died in 1974, leaving Angie to care for the home and the children on her own. In addition to raising her family, she worked in the kitchen at St. Timothy's Catholic School and maintained 2 acres of Raspberry's that were her pride and joy. Angie was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. She was excellent at baking and cooking. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and a good game of cards.
Angie is survived by her daughter, Diane (Rich) Taylor of Strasburg, CO; five sons, Terry (Linda) of Chisago City, Ernest of Maui, HI, Scott (Karen) of Rogers, Kevin of Otsego and Jody of Hana, HI; nine grandchildren, Dustin Strom, Theresa Hugener, Jeremy, Joshua, Jason, Hannah, Sydney, Alex and Jacob Klein; eleven great-grandchildren, Stella, Kalista, Kaidyn, Kassidy, Addisen, Piper, Ellie, Will, Mylee, Paisley and Claira; brother, Leonard (Jenny) Pulkrabek of West Fargo, ND; and sister-in-law, Marie Pulkrabek of West Fargo, ND. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and eleven brothers and sisters.
Angie's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
