Alice R. Shir, age 89, of Maple Lake, formerly of Milaca, died Monday, September 28, 2020 with family at her side.

Private Graveside services will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Alice R. Shir was born in North Dakota to John and Katrina Kleinsasser on July 6, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Anna, Lydia and Verna; and her brother, John. She will be missed by her loved ones: husband, Martin Shir; daughter, Susan Shir; sons, Mark (Carla) Shir and Josh (Sabine) Shir; and grandchildren, Hannah, Stephen, Julia (Tesfaye) Hallo, Matthias (Jemina), Joseph, Titus, Sophia and Natasha; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Alvin Kleinsasser.

She went home to be with the Lord September 28th, 2020. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
