William D. 'Bill' Bruns, age 43, of Maple Lake died Friday, March 21, 2008 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be in St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
William 'Bill' Donald Bruns was born December 29, 1964 in Buffalo to Donald and Dorothy (Pribyl) Bruns. He graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1983 and from St. Cloud Technical College in 1985 with a degree in Information Technology. He went on to work as a computer consultant. Bill married Mary Langanki at St. Timothy's Catholic Church on May 6, 1989, where they are both members. He enjoys his dogs, trains, his computer, making candy and quilting.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary; father, Donald (Mary) Bruns of Maple Lake; brothers and sisters, Al (Teresa) Bruns of Maple Lake, Sandy (Ron) Borell of Ramsey, Tim (Irene) Harwarth of Washington, DC, Ken and Jim Harwarth, both of Buffalo, Patty (Dave) Wilson of Rogers and Penny (Harlen) Kunkel of Maple Lake; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy in 1974.
Pallbearers will be Jeff, Kerry and Darren Paumen, Tyler Bruns, Ron Borell and John Woitalla. The Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
