Warren R. Miller, age 83 of Annandale died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at St. Benedict Senior Center, St. Cloud.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Fr. Victor Valencia will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Warren Ralph Miller was born May 16, 1924 in Corinna Township to Gustav and Olive (Mattson) Miller. He married Dolores Langanki on October 16, 1946 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Clearwater. Warren owned and operated a farm for 58 years. He was very innovative in fixing and building farm equipment and buildings. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and the Annandale Creamery Coop Board. Warren enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, joking and telling stories. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; children, Gregory (Diane) of Annandale, Ellen (Gregg) Chapin of Moose Lake, Richard (Sandra) of Annandale, Lester (Pamela) of Brainerd, Michael (Kathryn) of Annandale and Mark (Debra) of Annandale; sister, Rosanna Ojala of St. Cloud; brother, Gustav (Edna) of Russell Springs, KY; sisters-in-law, Eva of Buffalo, Francis of Annandale and Lorraine of Annandale; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by an infant son; his parents; brothers, Phillip, Leonard, Elwood, Douglas, Russell and Donald; and sister, Kathryn Koerner.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Chapin, Adam, Justin, Isaac, Christopher and Roy Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Shannon Seiffert, Dana Shepard, Sarah Kelley, Molly Uecker, Elizabeth Miller, Amanda Hildebrand, Hannah Manuel and Abbie Miller. Sarah Goelz and Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
