Warren M. Brown, age 63 of Buffalo died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Warren Michael Brown was born April 30, 1945 in St. Cloud to Roy and Martha (Dufficy) Brown. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Warren married Julie Ring on August 23, 1969 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. He received his Masters Degree in Accounting from Cardinal Stritch University in Minneapolis and worked as a CPA and an accounting teacher. Warren was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo and a former member of St. Timothy Catholic Church of Maple Lake. He was a member of the Buffalo American Legion, Buffalo VFW, Buffalo Knights of Columbus, and was a former RCIA instructor. Warren enjoyed his computer, home improvement projects and especially his grandchildren.
Warren is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Wanda Brown (Mike McParland) of St. Cloud, Jeff (Kris) Brown of Farmington and Martha (Steve) Broyles of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Ashley, William, Julia, Robert, Brandi, Evan and Alex; brothers, Richard (Sue) of California, Tom (Sharon) of Iowa, Roi of Iowa and Patrick (Theresa) of Lewiston. He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Grace Rose Brown.
Pallbearers will be William Buskey, Jr., Ed Bokusky, Bill Latour, Dan Pribyl, Arlis Olson and Doug Vieu. Marge Pavlik, organist, and the Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
