Obituary
Virginia E. Roerig, age 87, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2003 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Buffalo. Friends may call 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Virginia Evelyn Roerig was born November 18, 1915 in Buffalo to Robert and Sarah (Biskey) Higgins. In 1940 she married Leonard M. Roerig in Buffalo and he preceded her in death February 25, 1992. She lived in Maple Lake most of her life where she was a homemaker and member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church.
Virginia is survived by a son, Robert (Floreen) of Spring Lake Park; brothers, Donald (Marci) of Minneapolis, Marvin (Elsie) of Shawnee, KS, George (Frances) of Annandale; sisters, Lucille Brown of New Brighton, Marcella Willems of Buffalo, and Patricia (Dale) Byrd of CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Maurice.
Music for the funeral provided by St. Timothy`s Resurrection Choir.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
