Obituary

Mrs. Viola M. Yager-Stumpf, age 83, of Maple Lake died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Park View Care Center, Buffalo.

Funeral services will be1:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2004 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake with Rev. David Martens officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday at the church.

Viola Minnie Yager-Stumpf was born October 1, 1920 in Annandale to William and Helen (Michels) Mc Coy. She married Raymond Yager September 18, 1943 and he preceded her in death October 19, 1975. She was a homemaker and lived in the Maple Lake area most of her life. Viola was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake. She loved her family, music, and dancing.

Viola is survived by a son, Gordie Yager of Chokio; daughter, Mary (Craig) Probst of Montrose; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Her parents; husband; daughter, Shirley Miller; brother, Raymond; sisters, Ruby Conrad, Margaret Davidson, and Myrtle Trebble; and an infant sister preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be Bill Miller, Denise Miles, Michael & Daniel Probst, and Melissa & Chris Thorston. Music for the funeral provided by Pearl Lieb and Joanne Zander.
