Vincent F. Kittok, age 83, of Annandale died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Graveside services will be 1:15 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Delano. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
Vincent Francis Kittok "The Polish Prince" was born March 21, 1928 in Minneapolis to Michael Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Schyma) Kittok. He married Patricia Marie Ledwein on September 8, 1951 and she died on May 11, 1978. Vince farmed near Maple Plain, sold cemetery monuments, owned & operated Annandale Marine, and was a regional manager for Delano Rembrandt. He was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Catholic Order of Foresters, Annandale Lions Club, and Annandale Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, gardening, cooking, and entertaining.
He is survived by children Deborah (Michael) Walker of Barrington, IL, Luanne (Bruce) Landgraf of West Allis, WI, John (Gretchen) Kittok of Annandale, Mary Jo Kittok (Curtis Bell) of Moreno Valley, CA, Kathleen Dammann of Annandale, brothers Michael Kittok & C.D. "Eric" (Joan) Kittok of New Orleans, 12 grandchildren Bryant & Sarah Walker, Lana & Laura Landgraf, Bridget, Brennan, Peter & Anne Kittok, Adam Bell-Kittok, Vincent & Benjamin Hylla, and William Dammann. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, sons Paul & Stephen, and brothers Paul, Edward, & Jerome.
Vince's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers and the music for the service will be provided by the St. Ignatius Music Ministry. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
