Obituary
Victor L. Miller, age 90, of 285 Hoyt Ave SW, Howard Lake died Wednesday, January 21, 2008 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2008 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Middleville Township, Annandale with Rev. Lynn Machula officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 4 p.m. Sunday.
Victor Ludwig Miller was born February 16, 1918 in Renville County to Ludwig and Martha (Boltz) Miller. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith on April 9, 1933 by Pastor Kanning at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He married Ethel L. Sterriker on September 24, 1939 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2005. Vic and Ethel were able to travel in most U.S. States and in Europe & Australia. He thoroughly enjoyed being a lifelong farmer and also enjoyed crafts, woodworking, and restoring antique tractors & cars.
Victor is survived by his three children & their spouses, Virgil & Claudia Miller of Howard Lake, Darlene & James Bjelland of Mesa, AZ, Kevin Miller & Sherri Larson of Howard Lake; four grandchildren, Ted (Susi) Miller, Jesse, Shay & Aidan Bjelland; a great granddaughter, Destyne Miller; and a sister, Lydia Smith of California. His wife Ethel and five brothers Leonard, Lloyd, Louis, Vernon & Wilbert preceded him in death.
The pallbearers will be Virgil, Kevin, Ted & Alan Miller, Steve Bonnick and Dan Koosman. Ruth Goerke will be the organist and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
