Obituary
Vernon L. Anderson, age 70, of Maple Lake died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his home.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with Memorial Services held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake with Rev. Peter J. Martinson officiating.
Vernon Leroy Anderson was born March 17, 1941 in Grant County to the late Roy A. and Anna Belle (Wagner) Anderson. For over 35 years he was employed by Onan Corporation in Fridley and since 1985 he had lived at Maple Lake previously living in Blaine. Vernon enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping and visiting with family & friends.
He is survived by two children Angie (Kevin) Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Scott (Rebecca) Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, five grandchildren Mariah, Brandon & Zachary Anderson, Merranda & Madeline Jones, sisters Shirley (Dwight) Jensen of Blaine, Nancy (Roger) Kolle of Elk Mound, WI, brothers Larry (Lynn) of Morris, Gary (Diane Borner) of Elbow Lake, Dick (Charlie) of Lisbon, ND, special friend Janet Luehne of Blaine, also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
